Ready to Sign Agreements

To speed up and facilitate the process of out-licensing popular research reagents and tools and software, OTT offers Ready-to-Sign Agreements. These agreements contain standardized terms and conditions, which are offered if no negotiation is required to execute the license. If you would like to discuss changes to a Ready-to-Sign Agreement, there will be an increase in the licensing fee.

Software Product: HOMER

HOMER (Has Our Medical Examiner Records) is a medical examiner case management system.

The most important aspect of Homer is the various screens that appear when certain buttons are clicked. Various personnel read and/or input data on the various screens. These screens (forms) are grouped, based on the medical examiner personnel who use them most.

The system was developed by Dr. Randy Hanzlick, M.D., Chief Medical Examiner for Fulton County, GA and Associate Professor of Forensic Pathology at Emory University. Dr. Hnazlick developed Homer to fulfill the database requirements for the daily activities of a busy Medical Examiner's Office.

The system was developed using Microsft Access and consists of multiple tables, reports, macros, forms, and queries, thus allowing the greatest flexibility for busy offices.

Emory University offers Homer under a non-exclusive license. Full documentation is provided.
