The Emory Cardiac Toolbox provides physicians with the ability to process, display, interpret and analyze cardiac positron emission tomography (PET) and single-photon computed tomography (SPECT) images. By displaying three-dimensional images of the patient’s heart, the Toolbox allows physicians to see whether or not blood is flowing to all areas of the myocardium and can determine the heart’s efficiency.
